Dream Journal
I stood on the bank of a river. The water rushed down river and became a large wall pressing down on me. A woman emerged from within the wall of foaming water; I could not decide if she was an angel or an alien. She asked me questions, but I was too stunned to answer.

I was at work and needed a small box to mail something. The whole staff was in the kitchen and I couldn’t get to the refrigerator because people were standing in front of it.
Carrie was holding a wooden box that I had received many years ago as a gift: it had come with a watch inside of it. The box was the perfect size for mailing my item. I was going to ask her if I could have it, but aliens landed and everyone excitedly rushed outside to meet them.
Carrie took the box outside with her and I knew that I wouldn’t be able to mail anything with aliens now here, but I really wanted that box.
I was then outside walking down the street toward home. Aliens were building things near where they had landed; they were settling down. The entire street looked like a construction zone with piles of building materials here and there.
Ahead of me on the right side of the street was a very tall structure, about three stories tall, and I could tell that it was the bottom half of an extremely large robot. The idea of a very large alien robot makes me very concerned; no one realized what the giant robot could mean, but I knew it wouldn’t be very good.

A group of about 20 little white aliens stood before me and a few other people. We were afraid they would take control of is and our world, so we rounded all of them up and planned to ship them off of our planet.
I realized that they weren’t very intelligent; they were more like alien pets and were no threat to us. They were really cute: short, round, and smooth. We decided to keep them like our servants.

Airplanes everywhere were exploding, tearing in half, coming apart, and falling to pieces. Planes that were in flight or sitting on the ground were destroyed in a matter of minutes.
In the sky I saw hundreds of flags standing with authority. They represented all of the airplane companies and manufacturers. Over all of the flags rose one large black flag with a white insignia: it was the log of German car manufacturer Audi.
I was swimming in the ocean with my dog when everything around me began to freeze. The ice covered the trees, buildings, and crept into the water. I swam over to a building that was very warm and crawled out of the water before we were frozen in it. I knew that this was the Audi headquarters, and I would be safe if they didn’t know I was there.
Inside the building, white fluff balls the size of large chickens ran around. They were the aliens who ran the Audi company. Audi had owned all of the airplanes and plane companies, and nobody knew. They made all of the planes self-destruct as the first phase of taking over the world.

I rode in the passenger seat of a car while a man drive; the steering wheel was on the right side of the car. The car had a bench seat, and I scooted closer to him. I tenderly kissed his cheek, then the corner of his mouth. He tried to pay attention to the road and his driving but kisses me back.
I sucked on his lip a bit and he did the same to me. He turned his head completely toward me and puts his tongue in my mouth. His tongue is blue, skinny, and about six inches long. I was excited to have his tongue in my mouth; it was my first non-human french kiss.
I wondered how my tongue felt to him in his mouth.

It was the end of the world. A large beam of light came from the clouds, and I thought how it was just like the dream I had. The beam touched ground a few blocks from where I stood, so I ran towards it with everyone else in town.
When I got to the beam, I saw that it wasn’t a beam of light at all. Instead, it was a huge white building that reached into the clouds. It belonged to aliens.
I became a servant to the aliens and worked in this white building. I helped them look for a missing human child. Most of their rooms were dark, they rarely turned on the lights, and so I had to use a flashlight.
I found the boy hiding under a table in one room, but I shined my flashlight elsewhere to protect him.
I was then in a room outside of the white building with B. We had a very limited time to spend together because he had to go back to the aliens soon. I pulled out my makeup case and we played with it. He had to go, and I was very sad but understanding.

It was close to the end of the world - buildings were going up in flames, the sky was an eerie dark mustard color, and very few people were still alive.
My dad, Melissa, and I were all that was left of our family. We took two puppies and went to the community disaster center at the church. I decided that we needed to claim a sunday school room before they all get filled up.
I walked down the hallway and checked out each one, but the only one available was at the end of the hallway across from the surprisingly full nursery. I didn’t want that room because, being at the end farthest from the main section of the church, felt too exposed. Instead, I figured I could snag the nursery when the people come to pick up their kids.
We piled all of our bags and food and other possessions in the foyer of the church. Melissa and I sat down on top of our clothes and coddled the two puppies who were being very obedient and not running away.
We watched alien prisoners of the enemy aliens file into the church for safety. They were refugees, and were steel gray in color. The enemy aliens bomb the end of the church and a large fire erupts - I was then very glad I chose to not take the empty room on the end of the hallway.
Melissa, Damon, Bridger, and I managed to get out of the church and ran to a cabin back in the woods a ways. We felt very safe, but we had no supplies and needed milk. I mentioned that I had milk in my refrigerator back at my apartment. I told the group that I didn’t know how long the power had been off, but the door hadn’t been opened since so it should still be pretty cool inside. I continued that if the milk was bad, I had some powdered milk under the counter that just needs mixed with water.
We were then crawling down the shoulder of a wide dirt road. There were a lot of abandoned cars parked along the edge, and we crawled behind them. As aliens marched up and down the center of the road, we prayed that they would remain oblivious to us.

A large group of people were involved in a large treasure hunt game, and Melissa was my partner. We had items that we needed to collect that were scattered all over creation. We all started out by climbing a large hill. It was grassy and green, and had a few large boulders. We all leisurely zigzagged up the hill.
At the top of the hill was a large building, in which was the homer mariner theatre. Melissa and I walked inside first, and found that the door through which we entered led immediately backstage. There was a group of people sitting in a circle in the center of the stage. We tiptoed behind the heavy curtains from stage left toward stage right so as to not disturb the group talking on stage.
On the other side of the stage, we came to another door. I knew that we needed to go through this door, so I opened it. On the other side was a world so completely different than our own. I saw a large flat area, akin to a filed or desert. There were many different beings that lived in that world.
There were some light blue beings that slightly resembled humans. They wore long, loose clothing that matched the color of their skin. They were exceptionally tall, and had large, inquisitive eyes. Their presence was impressive, but not scary. They walked back and forth through this land with a purposeful, unhurried step. Every one of these creatures looked exactly alike - everything from their color, long faces and legs, and their demeanor were the same.
In contrast, there were also small creatures with great diversity. Each of these creatures was unique from each other. They were also brightly colored, short, and resembled cute earth creatures: one looked like a bunny, another a squirrel, another a dog. These creatures scurried around this land underneath the feet of the seemingly giant blue creatures.
Scared by what I had found, I slammed the door. By that time, the rest of the treasure-hunting group had gathered at the door. We knew that we had to get through that door to complete the game. No one wanted to go; I got frustrated in trying to convince everyone that it was ok, so I turned around and walked through the open door.
Once through, I had to duck under a fence of which the bottom rung was chest height. Immediately, I had a revelation: all of the blue creatures were native to this world, and all of the small scurrying creatures were once humans, like me, who had ventured into this new world. I had a visual flashback of humans walking through that door and slowly turning into these creatures. In my mind, I saw one person turn into a snake and hop into a river flowing down a mountain and another turn into a bunny and hop away.
