I stood on the bank of a river. The water rushed down river and became a large wall pressing down on me. A woman emerged from within the wall of foaming water; I could not decide if she was an angel or an alien. She asked me questions, but I was too stunned to answer.

Carrie came to my desk and asked me to print an envelope for her because she was having problems. She was headed to the courthouse to divorce Frank and was running late. I asked her if she wanted some company, but she declined.
I pulled up the envelope program and tried to print from it, but the printer wasn’t working right. I opened the program preferences and saw that Debra had set it all up wrong. I worried that I would not get it fixed right before Carrie had to leave for the courthouse.
I was at my parents’ house and found that B had built an apartment onto the house. He was very proud of the apartment he had built and insisted he show it to me. I stared with my mouth agape, too shocked to say anything as he showed me the large living room and beautiful wood floors.
He led me out onto the deck with a beautiful view and turned around to hug me to his chest. He said that he was sorry for everything and wanted me back. He squeezed me tighter.

I came to work and found that my desk had been moved into another coworker’s office. I asked what was going on, and was told that everyone was switching offices. It was supposed to promote creativity and efficiency by moving everyone around every few weeks. I hoped that next move I would get the big office.
