I was going to watch a movie with Brian, Jo Lynn, their two kids, and Jeff. We walked into the theatre and Jo Lynn picked out a row for us to sit, but the row she picked only had four available seats. I moved one row in front of them and hoped Jeff would follow me, which he did.

A boy about 12 years old leaned over the back of our seats, directly between Jeff and me, and offered me an Orangina. I accepted the drink but gave it right back when he wanted $7 for it.

The lights dimmed briefly as if the movie were about to start, but instead the son from The Sopranos stepped out of the emergency exit by the screen and proceeded to tell us how much money we all would be giving him.

I came across B’s blog. I didn’t know that he had a blog, but someone pointed it out to me. It was very spartan with a white background. His posts were short and nearly incoherent, but one talked about his seeing a Dahlia in Fairbanks. I recognized the name Dahlia, and after a bit realized that she was a prostitute in Fairbanks.

I was then talking to my father on the telephone, and I asked him about Dahlia. He told me that he had gotten Dahlia as a present for B. I was so angry with him to be interfering, and I told him that he had no right to do something like that.

I was at the Anchor Point church for a wedding. The church was tiny and the sanctuary only had two rows. B’s family sat in the front pew; I smiled and walked briskly past them, almost pulling B by the hand behind me.

Around a corner I saw the rest of the pews, but there will still only three or four rows, with others sitting in them. My group of friends sat in the front pew and left no room for me so I walked to the next to last row and sat down.

A woman standing in the aisle to my right held a guitar and began playing for the audience, but I quickly realized she was just plucking the strings in time with some background music: she wasn’t using the frets at all. I had a guitar which I laid flat on my lap and plucked along with her, happy that I could play along and that I had discovered how untalented she really was.

Melissa sat in the row behind me, and when the guitarist sat down Melissa got up and stood in the aisle while the next musician set up. The next musician started playing and Melissa started singing and dancing animatedly. The people around me were uncomfortable with her display, interrupting the performance as she was, and they looked at me to do something.

I watched her for a bit more before standing up, taking her by the wrist, and pulling her to my pew. I sat on her left and told her that she was interrupting, so she had to sit still next to me. I put my right arm around her shoulders and squeezed her.

After the music stopped, we were in some sort of video game where we did tasks and searched out items and were awarded points. Dick and I were a team, and we wandered around to see the other teams’ progress.

The game took place in underground tunnels and caves. We went just left of the central game headquarters into the biggest, darkest cave in the game to check on another team. They were deep into the cave and were working on a project that required wooden planks. They needed one last plank, so one of the team members pulled a plank from a wooden gate near where Dick and I stood.

I looked at the ceiling structure of the cave, and noticed that a little deeper in the cave walls turned from rock to cement. Standing at the intersection of wall materials I could hear traffic above me and determined we were under a bridge.

Studying the intersecting wall materials more, I realized that the wooden gate from which the other team tore their last plank had been supporting the bridge. I tried to inform the group that the concrete infrastructure would likely collapse on top of them, but they were too engaged in their project to listen.

Dick and I left them and went back to the central game headquarters, a large, open cavern. The cave we had been in exited on top of a tall cliff in the cavern. I grabbed Dick’s hand and swung out over the cliff face, setting my feet on the cavern wall to the side of the cliff. Dick lost his balance, however, and fell over the cliff.

I swung back to the edge of the cliff and increased my grip on his hand. He started to pull me over the edge, but my weight had slowed him down enough that when I did go over we didn’t fall very fast. We landed at the bottom safely.

I was walking down a small road lined with shacks and falling down homes. It was very dark, and I had a sense that I was underground. I stopped in front of my uncle’s home, a disintegrating two-story building. I knew that no one was home, so I stood there staring at his home for some time. Two people ran up to a corner of his house, threw torches into the building, and then ran off.

I watched his house catch on fire. I pulled out my cell phone to dial 911, but it rang through to an informational hotline. I hung up and looked at my phone: the last number I had called was not 911, but some other three-digit number. I tried again and successfully reported the fire.

I continued down the dark and dirty road and met up with Pam’s family. Pam’s brothers were running all around and I stood at their mantle looking at family photographs. Pam had a terrible harelip, and I wondered if she would ever find someone to marry her. But then in a family portrait I saw that her mom had an identical harelip, and she married and had four children.

I found my uncle at my parents’ large house up on the hill, but he didn’t seem concerned that his home was burning. I tried to get him to go to his house, but he preferred to hold a glass of beer and look at my parents’ view of the bay.

I went down the hill to my uncle’s house and found that the fire had gone out on its own pretty quickly, and only the upstairs had been damaged. I told myself that he could still live in the downstairs of the house if he wanted.

I stood in the middle of a dilapidated apartment that had holes in the roof and floor, holes that I had to try to not fall through. There was no furniture, no heat, and no lights. Michael tried to coax me to bed, but I was too cold and worried about the snow falling through holes in roof; I didn’t want the snow to fall on me while I slept.

Then I stood leaning my face against the wall, while he stood behind me thrusting into me. I looked to my left and saw my mom and Melissa standing in what would have been the bathroom. There was no door hanging in the door frame so they could see Michael and me, but I knew they were trying not to look.

I told him to stop, uncomfortable that they are watching. He pulled out of me and moved me down onto all fours. He pressed his penis against me, but I reached between my legs to stop him. His penis was very hard and as I gripped it he slowly entered me. As I felt myself expand to take him, I had an orgasm.

I was sitting on the floor in the Junior Class hallway of the high school when, at the other end of the hallway, I saw a large crowd of people surrounding a small girl. She looked scared so I broke up the group and guided her away. I took the girl to my small black car in the parking lot and drove her to my mother’s house.

The girl needed to use the restroom, so I showed her to the bathroom in the basement. She stared at the toilet, seeming afraid to even step into the room, so I went in with her. She stripped completely naked and tried to stand on the toilet, but I made her sit down.

I sat on the on the second toilet and urinated while I could hear a torrential fall of urine into her toilet. While she was still peeing she stood up and turned around to flush, spraying urine all over me and the bathroom. I grabbed her arm, turned her around, and forced her to sit back down.

Again she tried to stand up, but I pulled her back down before she got urine all over. I finished and pulled my pants back up and waited for her to finish. She looked at me in confusion, as though she had never completely emptied her bladder before.

After she was done I handed her a bath towel, instructed she dry herself off, and then I helped her put her clothes back on. Coming out of the bathroom I saw the time was 8:39 — classes had already started: we were late for school.

I hurried her upstairs, waved goodbye to my mother, and we jumped into my little black car which was parked next to my mom’s little black car. We made it most of the way to the top of the hill at the start of the driveway when my car turned into a sled.

There was a large dark dog in it, and the sled, with the dog still on it, took off down the driveway a ways before I couild catch it. The sled ended up in the ditch on the corner, and I ran after it. I had to get the dog to the school, but knew at this rate that would never happen in time.

There was an ice walkway starting at base of the Spit and ran out into Cook Inlet. I wanted to stop and take pictures of it, but I drove by twice before finally stopping.

When I got out of my truck, I saw that the ice was two feet thick. I walked out onto it a ways and saw that the surface was smooth for the first twenty feet or so, but then had traction carved into it. Fifty feet from shore I turned back, sad that I did not have my camera with me.

I told someone standing on shore that the walkway extended across the bay to Seldovia, and then all the way to Kodiak. I had no idea how it stayed frozen all year long. Then I saw a car drive off of the beach and right onto the water, only the whole bay was covered with a thin sheet of ice. I worried about the car because the ice wasn’t thick enough to support a car. It went around a point and I could hear the ice cracking.
