I stood with a group of men on the side of the road in the dark. The leader of the group, in hushed tones, told everyone the plan: half of the group would stand on the opposite side of the road. Both groups would be holding a rope across the road, as if to trip someone, and we would catch cars in it so we could rob them.

The leader made it very clear that while everyone held onto the rope we were to be very quiet so as to not give away our stealth positions. Once everyone was in position and holding on to the rope, one man ran across the road screaming at the top of his lungs. The leader, quite upset that this idiot was sabotaging the operation, grabbed him and forced him to the ground.

We could see a car coming, but were unsure if we should give up or hold our places. The man on the ground kept screaming.

I drove behind the office and parked my car in my parking space. I gathered my things, got out of my car, and walked to the door. Before I walked up the stairs to the door, I saw that my flower boxes were gone. I stopped and turned toward where they had been sitting, wondering why someone would get rid of them while I was on vacation.

I walked up three steps into an old run-down apartment. There were holes in the walls, peeling paint, torn carpet, and the whole place was very dirty. I could see Dennis on a computer in the back room doing something work-related. I walked through the kitchen and into the living room where I found another man on another computer. I was not happy they were there, and wanted them both to leave.

There was a wedding being held at my parents’ house. I arrived from Fairbanks just in time to get ready. I went into the room I used to share with Melissa to get changed, and found her in a beautiful long, red bridesmaid dress brushing her hair. I realized that I had forgotten to pack my makeup, that I had left it in Fairbanks, but decided it was too late to worry about it.
