I wandered into a bathing suit store and was looking through their selection. The store’s owner came out from her office and told me that she would not be selling me any suits. I asked why, and, pointing to the people standing around me, she explained that we were in trouble with the law and she had been instructed to not help us one bit.

We looked at each other and shuffled out of the woman’s store. After the shop was closed, we sneaked back in through the ceiling and took as many bathing suits as we could grab.

We ran out of the building and to the shore. We were on a rocky island small enough for only one town. We jumped into the water with our stolen bathing suits and had a wonderful time. I swam with Michael who held me very tenderly.

The group decided the best way to fight the injustice of the island city was to throw stones, rocks, and boulders into the water surrounding the island. We would jump in with the rocks and the rocks would pull us under the water. We all thought it to be a marvelous plan and carried it out perfectly.

But when the rocks fell on Michael and me, they pulled us apart. He struggled to reach my hand as the weight of the rocks pulled us down. We wanted to be together.
