B and I were living in a dorm room on campus that had two twin beds pushed together. I thought that we could maybe afford a small apartment in married housing. One of his male friends opened the door; I had just gotten out of bed and was still naked. I screamed, “I’m naked here!” and sat down in a corner behind a dresser so he couldn’t see me.
We had a baby and I needed to change her diaper. I put her on our water bed and removed the diaper: it was full of poop. A block of poop shaped like a stick of butter rolled our of the diaper and into the crack between the mattress and the side of the bed. I picked it up with my hand and hoped B didn’t see it. I knew that he would freak out if he knew, and I didn’t want to wash the blankets.
