Dream Journal
I was driving a car through two sets of winding gates. There are four other people in the car with me. On the other side of the last gate a man authoritatively requests identification of everyone in car. Everyone passes their ID to me and I hand them to him one at a time.
He looks at each one and hands them back to me but holds on to my ID and the vehicle’s registration. We follow him around a building, get out of the car and walk inside. I am standing in front of fast food burger counter waiting while the other passengers are around a corner at another counter.
I stand alone waiting instructions and wondering what everyone else is doing. I watch from a distance as they get food. I realize that I am hungry and feel left out because I didn’t know we could eat.
From behind me I grab a pre-packaged plastic bag with bath stuff in it and buy it at the self check-out. I remove each bath item from the bag and scan them individually. When there is only one bottle left attached to bag, I consider not scanning it in. I think about just taking it with me, but I end up scanning and paying for it.
