Dream Journal
I was with Beth, Damon and Dana on a road trip; it was nighttime and Dana was driving. She pulled into a convenience store near a lot of road construction to get something to drink and use the restroom.
Back at the car, Dana stood by the door and mentioned how dizzy and sick she was and that she shouldn’t drive the rest of the trip - it was still a long way home. We all got back in the car and Dana slid behind the steering wheel; I wondered why she was still driving and why everyone in the car hadn’t said anything.
We pulled out onto the road and found the construction had completely blocked off the road for all returning traffic. We returned the convenience store parking lot to spend the night and pulled up next to Cris’ suburban.
We asked if she could spare some room for our stuff because our car was already full. She said that she didn’t have any room for baggage, but she had room for one person. I hop into the back seat of her suburban and sit between her son Kyle and a large brown dog.
