I was at the mall with Dana and we had completed our shopping. Walking out the glass mall doors with our few brown plastic bags, I saw that in the parking lot were a handful of brand new cars in all different makes, models, and colors. In the drivers side door of each of these new cars hung a key. It was like a sweepstakes: every car there had a key, and every key there had a car. Matching the right key with the car was the trick. If one succeeded, one could drive that new car home. There weren’t many people trying for a new car, but I desperately wanted one. I tried one key in one car, a yellow Jaguar-type car, but it didn’t work. So I left that key with that car and moved on to a Yukon-type vehicle. The key hanging from its door started it and I was allowed to take it home. The car was mine! I was so ecstatic.

Dana and I got into the car - she got in on the drivers side and I on the passengers side. We had to then crawl over the middle console and each other to get to our seats because I was going to drive. After getting in a couple of times (perhaps we made some stops?), I suggested that she get in on the passengers side and I on the drivers side - it would make things much easier on us. I got in and the fabric-covered bucket seat was so plush and comfortable; it fit the contour of my body well.

Upon reaching home, I got out to find Dana rummaging through the back seat. It turned out that she had gotten so excited with the new car that she left her bags at the mall entrance. In them were presents for her godson Mario, and she didn’t want to lose them.
