Dream Journal
I was a large bird-like creature - part bird, pterodactyl, and schoolyard bully. I flew around a small town terrorizing its inhabitants. I had grabbed two people and, standing on the ocean shore, threw one as hard as I could to my right. He flew like a curveball in baseball, stopping at a white obelisk barely visible to the human eye, but with my superior make up, I could see it perfectly. I could also see the path the person took as I threw him. I then threw the other person to my left. She also went in a curveball fashion, landing at another white obelisk far into the ocean and far from the first one.
I turned around, feeling satisfied with my job well done, when I was in the court of the town leader. She told me that she was concerned that the evil guardians of the obelisks had stolen her precious dogs. She was enlisting my help to rescue them. I didn’t really want to go save them, knowing I was the one that threw them there, but I didn’t want the town leader too upset at me - so I complied.
I flew first to the obelisk on the right. I could feel my large and powerful wingspan granting me speed. The water was calm so I flew only a few feet above it instead of high in the sky. I reached the obelisk and went to the side farthest from the town. There I found its guardian holding a small black and white dog. The dog looked scared enough to stay with the guardian. I demanded that I be given the dog, but the guardian refused. If I wanted the dog, I would have to answer one question.
The guardian asked its question in riddle form. It was one sentence consisting of few words. I thought that one word in the riddle was the answer, but I was wrong. The answer was the opposite of the word I had thought was the answer. Before the guardian realized I was wrong, I had grabbed the dog. The guardian then came at me with a knife-like weapon. Because I was hovering only a few feet off the surface of the ocean, I swung my powerful wings back and down into the water to push away from the obelisk. Escaping the guardian’s advance, for it was not able to leave the base of the obelisk, I flew back to shore with the dog.
I had a large pink pet dinosaur, but she walked and dressed like a human. She wore pink clothing to compliment her skin color. I was out in the woods and had lost her. I ran and ran all around looking for her. I came into a small clearing and saw her on the other side of it. She had gotten entangled in power lines and had fallen to the ground. I went and slowly untangled her so as to not scare her or tighten any of the lines. She got up and held my hand as I led her back to safety. We had to go under some more power lines and I helped her duck underneath them. We came to a paved road and she was scared to cross with me. I took my time and gained her confidence, and then we crossed.
I was at church sitting in the left aisle of pews with Tina. We were standing and finished singing the last song of the service. We turned to leave and standing in the right aisle a few pews behind us was Pam and her mom Karen. Tina and I went over to them. I gave Karen a big hug and Tina hugged Pam. I answered a few questions of Karen’s while Tina talked with Pam. I then said to Tina ‘OK, let’s go’ and turned to leave deliberately without saying a word to Pam. I felt very hurt that she hadn’t talked to me in over a year and did not want to act desperate for her attention.
I saw Pam turn her head away from us with an angry/hurt look on her face. With some animosity I said, ‘bye, Pam’. And I stood there. She looked at me and I was in the process of confronting her with my feelings of abandonment - everything I had ever wanted to tell her was running through my head and was about to come from my mouth - when I awoke.

B and I were going to a large event one evening. We pulled into the parking lot with our mustang and saw that all the parking spaces were full and there were cars parked all along the dirt road. There just happened to be an empty spot along the road and very near to the building entrance. B, the one driving, pulled into the spot but remained crooked and hung a bit into the road. We went inside a building that was impressive in size. I do not recall the interior or what we did in there. But I had to go back to the car to make sure its parking position wasn’t causing any problems with the traffic.
Walking back towards the parking lot the night had darkened yet there was still a line of vehicles looking for parking spaces, now with their headlights on. I saw that more cars had parked along the dirt road so that the mustang was now causing a serious problem in traffic flow. There was a large full sized truck with its headlights on waiting to get by on the road blocked by our vehicle. I got into the drivers seat in order to move it so as to not get towed.
I drove the car down the road and all lights were now gone; the road and surroundings were black. It was so black that I could not see a thing around me, yet I kept driving. I was driving down a large hill and was scared of driving off the road or hitting something because I could not see. Then I saw about a mile or two in front of me a pair of headlights. I was relieved that I now had someone to follow yet was worried that they would drive out of sight. I sped up to keep them in my sights, but not so fast that I would be even more worried about hitting something or going off the road.
It is now morning, the car is stopped alongside the road, and I am lying in a field of tall grass. A few hundred feet away is parked a large van with the doors open. Next to me lies a man who looks just like B, but I know/feel that he is not my husband. He is naked down to the waist, but I know nothing has happened between us. I feel comforted by the presence of another human even though I do not know this man. He gets up and walks to his van. I follow, curious, and he asks me to hang up a red pair of pants of his that were soaking wet and needed to dry. I turn around and am in my bathroom at home. I go to hang B’s pants on the towel rack to dry, except there is already an exact duplicate pair hanging there.

I was at the mall with Dana and we had completed our shopping. Walking out the glass mall doors with our few brown plastic bags, I saw that in the parking lot were a handful of brand new cars in all different makes, models, and colors. In the drivers side door of each of these new cars hung a key. It was like a sweepstakes: every car there had a key, and every key there had a car. Matching the right key with the car was the trick. If one succeeded, one could drive that new car home. There weren’t many people trying for a new car, but I desperately wanted one. I tried one key in one car, a yellow Jaguar-type car, but it didn’t work. So I left that key with that car and moved on to a Yukon-type vehicle. The key hanging from its door started it and I was allowed to take it home. The car was mine! I was so ecstatic.
Dana and I got into the car - she got in on the drivers side and I on the passengers side. We had to then crawl over the middle console and each other to get to our seats because I was going to drive. After getting in a couple of times (perhaps we made some stops?), I suggested that she get in on the passengers side and I on the drivers side - it would make things much easier on us. I got in and the fabric-covered bucket seat was so plush and comfortable; it fit the contour of my body well.
Upon reaching home, I got out to find Dana rummaging through the back seat. It turned out that she had gotten so excited with the new car that she left her bags at the mall entrance. In them were presents for her godson Mario, and she didn’t want to lose them.
